WHAT IS CONTOURING?
In a nutshell, contouring is a process of the changing the skate
blade that applies more blade to the ice while at the same
time creating proper forward knee bend in your skating.
Properly contoured skates are based on a few
simple factors.

Our process and technology used is unique
and unbelievably accurate, insuring your skates are consistent
and correct. Based on our research we believe no other company
uses the same, technology, process and equipment in the
industry! And unlike other so called "profiling systems" no
free hand grinding of the profile or contour is performed on
your skates!

WHO SHOULD HAVE
CONTOURED SKATES?
Although players at all level will benefit from contouring
(including goalies), players in age from 5-12 will experience
the most dramatic results! Their bodies adjust quickly and
will benefit in the long term since they are using the proper
body position early in their development.
WHY CONSIDER
CONTOURING SKATES AT ALL?
Although skates are very generic in design, they have many
inherent variables which will affect the efficiency and
performance of your play. It is not feasible to expect a
manufacturer to build a skate that is exactly right for every
individual.
The
Contouring system of transferring the
mechanical points of the foot directly to the skate blade
eliminates the most common variables present on skates today.
These are:
 |
Inconsistent
location of the blade holder
on the skate |
 |
Incorrect
radius & lie on the blade based
on the players profile |
 |
Inconsistency
of the toe & heel shape |
WHY US?
The technology we use is patented based
on over 20 years of research and experience by Glenn Sakcriska.
We understand how the body is designed to work and know the
differences in various skate boots & blades. This insures the
contouring we provide is correct for your player. Our method & process insures that each skate is consistent.
This is accomplished by using a specially designed boot gage
to determine the correct measuring points based off the sole
plate, not the steel.
